A look at Pit Jump Mazes - Great online mazes

UPDATE: The book is still available, but the site is no longer posting daily mazes

I wanted to take a moment to make you aware of a great daily maze site if you like maze puzzles called Pit Jump Mazes. Each day at the site you are presented with a new maze to solve using the arrows keys or your mouse. I find them to be both fun and challenging.

Let’s look at an example with an explanation. Each pit jump maze has 4 sections. First you must reach the goal marked by the #1. To get there it is a standard maze with standard movements. Once you reach that goal you may now “jump” over pits that have a length of 1 block as you try to reach the second goal, the circle containing the number “2”. Once you reach that goal you may jump 2 blocks on your way to “3”. After reaching “3” you may jump 3 blocks on your way to reaching the final goal, the FINISH. It is a perfect format to play online.

If you enjoy the mazes, there is also a book available on Amazon of 64 puzzles that you can find here (cover photo below). It is one of the few maze books available for kindle (like my own Arrow Maze Book) because you do not need a writing utensil to solve the mazes.

Just because it is available on kindle doesn’t mean you can’t use a pencil to solve the maze !

Daily solutions to the mazes can de found on Instagram by following @PitJumpMaze. Both the website and book are by Tyler Ruetz. Check it out !
