Queretaro, mexico walking street maze
If you are ever in the Centro of Queretaro, Mexico you might pass thru this walking street. The Centro portion of the city is a UNESCO world heritage site and I imagine that would include this street. I took the picture that I used to make the maze standing beside this restaurant, Bistro Chez Julien, if you want to Google Earth/Map it and see for yourself ! The name of the street is Av. Prol. Luis Pasteur.
My Photo: The colors are a bit washed out from what you actually see. It is not typically overcast in the city so this was a unique day !
The Maze: The idea for this came when I saw the tiles that make up the street. I did adjust them to 2x size to help make the maze easier last minute. And of course this maze had to be in full color to showcase the wonderful colors you find in Mexico !
This is one of my favorite maze making videos. I had a lot of fun drawing this scene and making this game. And of course you can watch the solution also !
And I should also mention I used my photos of the city to make another maze you might like that I simply call the Mexican Door Maze, since it is a combination of photos from my trips around Mexico !
If you know Queretaro, this is not my only maze from there. A short walk away is a statue called the Danzante Conchero Chichimeca that after many months on the shelf, eventually became a maze in this site !
